1. Agreement

Sprue & Brush (“the site”) is published by MadGrey LLC(“we”, “us”). By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

There are no accounts, subscriptions or paid services here. Nothing on this site is sold by us.

2. What the content is

The site publishes editorial opinion and general information about miniature painting and model kit building. Recommendations are based on published manufacturer specifications and the reasoning set out on each page — see the review policy, which states explicitly that we do not run a test lab and do not claim to have tested the products we discuss.

Content is provided for general information. It is not professional advice, and we make no warranty that any product will suit your particular purpose. Specifications, formulations, prices and availability change without notice, and a product listing can change under the same name — always check the retailer’s own page and the product’s own instructions before buying or using anything.

3. Hobby safety

This hobby involves sharp tools, adhesives, aerosols, solvents and airborne particulates. Where we discuss ventilation, respiratory protection or handling, that guidance is general and the manufacturer’s own instructions and safety data always take precedence. Read the label on the product in your hand.

You are responsible for your own safety, for supervising anyone you allow to use these materials, and for complying with local rules on storage and disposal. We accept no liability for injury, damage or loss arising from the use of any product or technique described here.

4. Affiliate relationships

Product links on this site are affiliate links and we earn commission on qualifying purchases at no extra cost to you. This is disclosed on every commercial page and in full on the affiliate disclosure page.

We are not the seller. Any purchase you make is a contract between you and the retailer, under their terms. Pricing, stock, payment, shipping, returns, warranty and customer service are entirely theirs. We cannot process an order, cancel one, or resolve a dispute about one.

5. Third-party links

We link to retailers, manufacturers and reference sources. We do not control those sites, we are not responsible for their content, accuracy or practices, and a link is not an endorsement of anything beyond the specific point it is cited for. Once you leave this site you are subject to the other site’s terms and privacy policy.

6. Intellectual property

The text, structure, scoring criteria and original editorial content on this site are the property of MadGrey LLC. You are welcome to quote a reasonable extract with clear attribution and a link to the page quoted. Republishing a page or a substantial part of one, with or without attribution, is not permitted.

Photographs are used under open licenses and are credited individually, with their license terms, on the image credits page — those terms govern reuse of the photographs, not these terms.

Product names, brand names and trademarks referred to on this site belong to their respective owners. Their use here is for identification and commentary. No affiliation with or endorsement by any manufacturer is claimed or implied.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, copy or republish the site’s content at scale.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorized access to the site or its hosting.
